A Forest Tail

This farming/ adventure game will take you, and friends, through the story of Plant Alteria on a continent known as Nari. A war quiet war has been going on between Demons and Humans for the last 200 years with no end in site. 

A certain slime, you, has happened to gain strange sentience in this world upon spawning in from the Dungeon's chaos magic. The odd connection you have is noticed by the Shrine Deity Lalatina Lewdina who beckons you to come visit her shrine. Upon doing so, you'll be given the knowledge of the world and how your impact in the regions of Nari will heavily influence this war. 

Will you choose a side and fight or perhaps find another way to end this war...? Choices matter and the impact of major decisions will influence how it ends. There are multiple endings and how you handle yourself will decide what happens. 

**Completing the main story will not end the game, but it will heavily change the world you live in. There is NO rush to make choices. Play at your own leisure for as many years as you choose. 

 
***Slight spoilers below:

You'll be able to evolve far more than other slime. Eventually gaining the ability to shapeshift and even blend in with humanoids. This will allow you access to a number of places, including the town and other villages, yes plural. Over 12 regions to explore, each one with it's own region specific items, fish, NPCs, quests and all else!

Q: What can we expect?
A: Farming, skill leveling, romance, choices that matter, crafting, looting, selling, adventuring, questing, impact on the world around you. There's a lot going on, but it won't hit you all at once. 

Q: Can I just play casually?
A: Of course! The world won't change unless you make decisions and the major decisions are the only ones that will truly change it. So, be silly and make some small choices like telling a Vampire to go vegetarian. This is YOUR story, for the most part.

Q: How do I support you?

Q: How many romanceable options will be in this game?
A: Hopefully literally all of the adults. All of them. Hopefully. Maybe that's ambitious, but I'm working hard on that goal. For a number, we're looking at 60+ options

Q: Do you take commissions?
A: Yes, however I'm on hiatus right now while I focus my school work and A Forest Tail

Q: How much will it cost on release?
A: That has yet to be determined. It all depends on how much game I can put in there, but we're looking at 20$ so that you can bring in all your friends and have a great time!

Q: Will characters be unique or just reskinned outlines throughout the game?
A: All characters will be unique in every way. I want to make every location and experience feel fresh and new.

Q: Will there be males characters to romance?
A: Females, males, and everything in between. 

Q: Can you add me to your game?
A: No promises for personal additions, right now. Getting the foundations and functionality laid out is my priority!

Q: How many people are working on this?
A: 1 coder and 1 artist. Both in school and both with full time jobs. Life's rough, so, donations help a lot!
